Unforgetable Trip

My most memorable trip was the first time I went abroad. My parents asked me if I would like to go abroad for a study tour. We had only one teacher and four students on the study tour. Our destination was the UK, which happened to be hosting the Olympics. After a long flight, a landing, the Olympic atmosphere came. Although our purpose is not related to the Olympic Games, we still bought a lot of Olympic souvenirs. We arrived in Cambridge by train from England, where we were greeted by our homestay family. He was a taxi driver, very enthusiastic, and he showed us his collection of cross-stitch and made a cup of English tea for each of us. The three of them lived in a villa, and the hostess made us a big dinner of homemade pizza and chips. The next day we went to Cambridge international school and spent a wonderful day with our peers from all over the world and made some kazakh friends. A kazakh boy asked us how to say sexy in Chinese, which made me laugh. After that, we went shopping in the town of Cambridge and visited the university of Cambridge. It was really beautiful, but the lunch in Britain was really bad. We had to eat sandwiches prepared by our host family. I stayed in Cambridge for a week, and the next week we went to London, visited the British empire museum, and stayed with a Chinese graduate student. The driver and I hugged each other on the way back, but unfortunately we didn’t leave our contact information. The wonderful time was very short. I not only experienced the British scenery, but also the life and passion of ordinary people in Britain. It was an unforgettable trip
